According to United Nations reports, nearly 10,000 children worldwide lose their families every day. According to the same studies, the number of orphans exceeded 150 million children in 2021. Their situation as orphans condemns them to poverty, misery, and emotional insecurity. These children urgently need safety, food, education, psychological support, and decent housing.

Sponsoring a child means providing them with the clothing, shoes, and accessories they need throughout the year.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
When someone expresses the desire to sponsor an orphan, HumanSmile assigns them a child’s file. By signing a care certificate, the sponsor commits to paying €25 or €50 each month. This covers the orphan’s food needs, healthcare, and school expenses.
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL
Besides financial support, sponsorship brings a lot to the life of the child, their family, and even their country. A sponsored child is a child with hope who can dream of a better future. It is a child who plays, learns, and thrives.
Finally, it is a child who is given the chance to fully experience their childhood.
