A Joyous Eid for All

The day of Eid is synonymous with treats, family gatherings around a convivial meal, and the distribution of gifts in joy and good spirits!
On this festive day, Muslims around the world should be smiling. Unfortunately, not far from us, many families have no reason to rejoice. Donate your Zakat al Fitr to them to offer them a delicious meal.

WHAT IS ZAKAT AL FITR FOR?

Zakat al Fitr is a mandatory charity that validates and purifies the fast of Ramadan. The head of the family is responsible for giving a fixed amount of 7€ for all the people under his care, including those who do not fast.
Zakat al Fitr is distributed to needy Muslims so they have a meal on the day of Eid al Fitr. Therefore, it must be given before the Eid prayer.

THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH TELLS US:

Ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه) reports: “The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ, imposed the charity of breaking the fast because it purifies the fasting person from useless and indecent words, and it is also food for the poor. Whoever fulfills it before the prayer, it will be an accepted Zakat, and whoever gives it after the prayer, it will be counted only as a general charity.” (Sunan Ibn Majah no. 1827, authenticated by Sheikh al Albani)

Entrust your Zakat al Fitr to HUMANSMILE

For several years, HUMANSMILE has been distributing food to many needy families thanks to your Zakat al Fitr.
HUMANSMILE collects your Zakat al Fitr, converts it into food items, and distributes it as food parcels. This allows many households in precarious situations to celebrate the end of Ramadan with dignity.
We work with the poor in Belgium, Morocco, Tunisia, Yemen, Palestine, Somalia, and Afghanistan.
Entrust us with your Zakat al Fitr and make this festive day unforgettable, for them and for you
